Is there anything we as mods can do that would make you more likely to sort? Please explain in comments. Comments are screened.

Hello, all!

We're going to try bringing this place back again, now that Pottermore is finally open to the public and everyone should have had a chance to get sorted there by now. The application has been updated, although I don't think there are any major changes to it from before.

If you want to re-apply, anyway, though, you are free to submit another application. We won't be removing anyone from their existing houses, however, so this is not a requirement.

If you don't want to be sorted at all, that's fine, too! You can join your Pottermore house here or you can simply participate in things without joining any of the houses. This community is more social and discussion driven than competition driven, so it's completely up to you if you want to join a house and interact with your housemates.

I will make one final comment that in order for this to work, you have to SORT other members. It's hard to place someone with only a handful of votes on their app, after all! To that end, we will now be requiring that if you have an app up for sorting during any given week, you must vote on all of the other apps for that week or you will not be sorted.

The new applications will go up on Sunday. We only have 2 applications in the queue currently, so please encourage your friends to apply!

We still only have 5 votes apiece on the current batch of applications, which leads us to ask.. are you guys still interested in this place? We're still getting the occasional new application in, but we can't sort people if no one is voting on the applications. We're also getting little to no response on the social/discussion activities we're posting in morehall. We don't want to have to give up and close down the community so soon, but if no one is going to participate, I don't know what the alternative is. We would really appreciate soem feedback on what we can do to increase particpation, especially in sorting.

We're going to extend voting at least another couple of days. Currently, this weeks applications only have 5 votes a piece, so please, please make some time to sort. There are only 3 applications, so it shouldn't take very long to read and vote on them. ♥
